ACEC/MA Engineering and Public Works Roadshow:  William Felton "Bill" Russell Bridge

Join ACEC/MA by the William Felton "Bill" Russell Bridge that connects Boston's North End to Charlestown on October 23 to celebrate this engineering and public works project with a press briefing, technical tour and lunch. 

This event involves walking to certain points on and beneath the bridge. Wear comfortable walking shoes and gear appropriate for the weather. Parking is on your own; MBTA or Uber recommended. Paid parking on your own at Constitution Wharf Lot, Charlestown.

9:30 AM Check-In – Enter at RSM at 80 City Sq, Charlestown, on side entrance of RSM lobby (look for ACEC/MA sign), pick up name badges. Press event in RSM’s front meeting space or possibly in Breed’s Hill conference room on first floor.

10:00 AM Engineering and Public Works Roadshow celebration: Speaking program with assorted city and state elected and appointed officials – open to media.

App. 11:15 AM Technical Tour Guides from project team lead walking tour of the area, across the bridge and then back, led by Benesch and City of Boston engineers – open to media, with ACEC/MA Program Committee resource people to move people through separate stops and then back to RSM.

We plan to hold the entire event, except for walking tour, at RSM inside.

Member Briefings

Building a Better Business Programs

ACEC/Massachusetts is offering members the opportunity to present a business program at an ACEC/MA. These meetings may be held in conjunction with our Membership Meetings. Note: these programs MUST be educational in nature – no sales pitches.

Final selection for programs will be made by the Program Committee. Proposals will be considered in the order they are received. ACEC/Massachusetts guarantee attendance.

To submit your program for consideration, download the RFP form (to be posted soon) and email completed form to ACEC/MA.

Building a Better Business Webinars

ACEC/Massachusetts offers periodic, non-PDH webinars on timely and relevant business topics for engineering professionals.

Business webinars should be no more than  hour and should provide information relevant to our membership (no sales pitches). These webinars does NOT qualify for PDH credit. However, it may meet requirements for other professional development programs. Check with the administrator of your professional program for more information.
